Born in Italy in 1752. He founded the important firmof Clementi and Son in London c 1802.Muzio was a fine pianist and important publisher of keybourd music. The firm produced excellent quality instruments. including keyboards; a great many of their instruments survive. In 1830, the business became Clementi, Collard and Collard.
